The Pear Tree is the ideal venue for functions whether you’re celebrating a small intimate event to a larger corporate event or any other special celebration in the romantic Bay of Islands in Northland, NZ.

Our restaurant, historic Blacksmith’s Forge and large gardens provide an ideal venue for everything from a wedding reception, civil union or business conference to a product launch, intimate naming ceremony or celebration of that significant anniversary.

Our private dining room off the main restaurant is perfect for intimate gatherings. And for something unique, The Blacksmith’s Forge with its rustic décor adds real atmosphere for small to medium-sized gatherings. Larger groups may prefer to take advantage of the Pear Tree’s sizeable dining room and balconies. Of course the superb indoor-outdoor flow means that you could offer your guests a choice of indoor or Al Fresco dining. And for really large events the park-like setting can easily accommodate marquees. Like the location, the catering is equally flexible. Choose from light finger foods or a delicious spit roast served in the garden to a more formal set menu – it’s your choice!
