Chef Neil Brazier prefers the title ‘foodologist’. His quirky outlook is reflected in a very inventive but approachable menu and belies the level of training and experience he has attained.
Neil has travelled extensively throughout the UK, America and Asia working in various Michelin Star rated restaurants and elite country house hotels before returning to New Zealand as an Executive Chef for some of New Zealand’s finest eateries. Neil draws inspiration from the various cultures he has experienced and combines them to create food that is as unique as it is elegant.
Maitre D Nic Brazier is equally well travelled which is how she met her husband Neil. Nic is passionate about ensuring her team of wait staff understands the balance of providing seamless service in a friendly, relaxed manner and it is this skill that recently saw Nic awarded the title of ‘Northland’s Top Service Person’.
Internationally experienced Sommelier Scott Hoddy also brings a wealth of experience to the table. Scott has an extensive knowledge of New Zealand’s wines and prides himself on sourcing excellent labels at an affordable price. His wine list, like the menus, will surprise and impress.
