Judge Riki Rolleston said John Green (on left) and Larry Stevenson had made a simple but solid construction. He applauded their use of sustainable building materials in the bamboo struts and was impressed with their adherence to Health & Safety, donning both high-vis vests and safety hats. He also said it didn’t hurt that they had a Placemakers flag attached to their long load on the trailer.
