Almost 70 couples registered for the MORE FM Whirlwind Wedding worth $20,000! At 7am Toni Wright and Damian Saunders of Maungatapere heard they had won... and by 4.30pm the ceremony had begun.

Every month the Kerikeri Retirement Village hosts a birthday morning tea down at the Pear Tree Restaurant for residents celebrating a birthday.

Hundreds of people turned out for the inaugural Pear Tree Easter Carnival on Sunday the 4th April. An Easter Egg Hunt, Egg & Spoon Race, Bouncy Castle and Raft Race provided plenty of opportunities to have FUN.

During the Easter Carnival we commissioned three original chainsaw sculptures carved from Cypress. These were for sale on Trade Me with profits going to Coastguard Bay Of Islands.
